Madden Curse?

The NFL season is still over a month away and it seems the Madden curse may be wreaking havoc already. This years cover athlete, Brett Favre, seemed to be the perfect subject. Since he retired this past March, would this be the end of the supposed curse? After all how could it impact someone who no longer plays?

Well that answer may have come in the form of Favre potentially un-retiring. With the Packers prepping his successor, Aaron Rodgers, the possibility of him ending up in Green Bay again are slim. The most likely scenario is that he will end up playing for someone else. Thus bringing an all new twist to the now famous curse. Being the first cover athlete wearing a different uniform in the game than depicted on the box.

NCAA Football 09 Released

Online dynasty here we come! After many long years, EA is finally implementing online leagues into their games. Although NCAA is not the first game to allow this feature, it is the first football game. The only limitation of the online dynasty is that only 12 human players can participate. But who has 100+ friends that all want to participate anyway. Not to mention this way each person has the opprotunity to select from quality teams and avoid forcing someone to be Duke.
